[ It takes her less than five minutes to join him. She moves with purpose, eyes scanning the area for a hint of white flashing somewhere. ]

Have you tried filling her food bowl? Maybe the sound of it will lure her out?

Maybe. We should also check cabinets and doors. It could be that she's accidentally trapped somewhere.

[And that is exactly where they find her almost twenty minutes later, inside the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink. Bucky sighs and picks her up, pressing a kiss to the top of her head without thinking about it.]

Wanna hold her? [He's pretty sure he knows the answer.]

The answer is always yes.

[ She opens her arms eagerly. She's glad they found her, but she's utterly thrilled at the prospect to hold her. The moment Alpine is in her arms, she coos softly to her. She gently gives her a scritch beneath her chin. She's reward with loud purring that she can feel. ]

She's amazing.
